ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance

In CAPTICO2, ESG goals and ESG reporting are at the basis of our governing management system, and every member of our Management Team is expected to be conscious of the company's ESG goals and lead by example.

1.1 Environmental Goals

The environmental criterion describes the company's energy use and the company's overall environmental impact and responsibility. CAPTICO2 has the following Environmental Goals:

• Energy use: continuous improvements to keep energy usage at a minimum
• Conservation: continuous improvements for maximum energy conservation
• Water treatment: minimum 90% recycling of water in our CCUS process
• Pollution: zero human and environmental toxic pollution
• Waste: continuous improvements to keep waste at a minimum
• Carbon dioxide emissions: minimum net reduction of 70% with continuous improvement

1.2 Social Goals

The social aspect is about how the company manage and interact with people, other businesses, and cultures. CAPTICO2 has the following Social Goals:

• Inclusivity: all employees shall be included in social events and business discussions
• Diversity: embrace diversity and encourage employees of different ethnicity, genders, cultures and backgrounds
• Gender issues: zero tolerance for harassment or sexual misconduct
• Employee engagement: all employees shall be encouraged to engage in business discussions and participate in decisions
• Customer and vendor interaction: interaction with customers and vendors shall be frequent and including, and the company’s ESG goals communicated openly
• Labour standards: all employees shall be treated equally based on level of responsibility, effort and accountability, and the company’s ESG goals shall be communicated openly to customers and vendors

1.3 Governance Goals

The company will openly share the ESG and QHSE Management System, including ESG and QHSE reporting and trends, with shareholders, investors, customers, partners, vendors and other interested parties.
